Benigna was probably born before 1744, daughter of Francesco Di Maggio and Caterina Guzzo. In 1760, she married Calogero Randazzo and they had several children who lived to maturity and marriage. Benigna was widowed and still living as of 17 February 1801.
Benigna was named for her paternal grandmother, Benigna Viviano.
